Submitted by Trani Stern It’s a spicy, delicious chicken recipe with salami and fried onions. It’s epic and really awesome!! Yields about 3 adult portions.
4 chicken cutlets
1 pk beef salami
1 pk beef pastrami
1 onion
3/4 cup apple juice
3 oz tomato sauce
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger powder
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 Tbsp honey
about 1/2 Tbsp salt
3 Tbsp cornstarch
Sesame seeds
Cut up 1 onion into strips, then sauté the onion till crispy and set aside.
Cut up1 pk beef pastrami and beef salami into thin strips, then sauté till slightly crispy. Set aside.
Combine the sauce ingredients in frying pan on low heat.
Then cut up cutlets into small nuggets or strips. Coat in 3 Tbsp cornstarch and add to the sauce. On low heat, cook it for about 35 minutes until the center isn’t pink anymore.
When it looks ready add in the salami strips and the sautéed onions, sprinkle on little sesame, mix and warm up on low heat for about 20 minutes.
