1 ounce yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup oil
5 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 and 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cup apple or orange juice
2 large onions, diced
1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef, turkey or chicken
8 ounces Gefen Tomato Sauce
1 tablespoon pizza spices
1 green pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced
1/2 bunch broccoli, thinly sliced
Dissolve yeast in water. Combine all dough ingredients and knead to a soft dough.
Roll out on well floured surface. Place onto cookie sheet.
Sautee onions in oil and add ground beef. Stir fry over low heat for 25-30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Combine tomato sauce and pizza spices. Spread liberally onto dough. Pour meat mixture over dough.
Saute vegetables until limp and distribute evenly over pizza.
Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes.
