Taking just minutes to prepare, this homemade tomato sauce is bursting with texture and flavor. This can be used as a sauce over any meat, fish, or even noodles.
Yield: 2 cups
1 cup Tuscanini Tomato Sauce
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oil
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 green pepper, diced
1/4 onion, diced
2 tablespoons Gefen Cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water
Place first seven ingredients into saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes.
Add dissolved cornstarch and cook for 10 minutes until mixture thickens.
