This cheesy tomato sauce for serving atop pasta, rice, or roasted vegetables takes just a few minutes to prepare but can elevate those simple dishes when you’d like to serve something special.
2 onions, chopped
4 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons flour
16 ounces Gefen Tomato Sauce
1 teaspoons Gefen Oregano
1 teaspoon Gefen Onion Powder
1/2 cup shredded cheese
Sauté onions in oil until transparent.
Add the flour. Brown slightly.
Add tomato sauce and spices and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and add cheese. Cook until melted.
Serve over spaghetti or spaghetti squash.
