Vanilla Cafe graciously shared the recipe, and you were right. The secret to the dressing is completely unexpected.
2 and 1/2 cups chopped lettuce
2 ounces Gefen Sweetened Dried Cranberries
2 ounces glazed walnuts or almonds
1/2 Red Delicious apple
1/2 Granny Smith apple
1/2 Bartlett pear
1/2 mango
1/2 cup strawberry syrup (we use 3V brand)
2 tablespoons Gefen Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
In an individual plate, combine lettuce, dried cranberries, and nuts. Arrange apples, pears, and mangoes on top.
In a small bowl, whisk together strawberry syrup and olive oil. Serve on the side or toss with salad. (You will have extra dressing.)
