2-3 pounds flat iron steak
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon coconut aminos or soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried or fresh rosemary
Add all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Whisk well and pour into a bag. Add the flat iron steak and allow to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutess to 3 hours. (The longer the better!)
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the iron steak in the hot skillet and discard the excess marinade; sear and cook steak for three to four minutes on each side for medium rare.
Allow steak to rest for about five minutes before serving. Enjoy!
