Quickly whip up a delicious dairy vanilla-flavored buttercream frosting.
2 sticks + 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
3 cups Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar or other powdered sugar
2 teaspoons Gefen Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon salt
1-2 tablespoon(s) half-and-half (see note)
Use a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment and beat the butter until smooth and creamy, about two minutes.
Slowly add in your powdered sugar and mix to combine.
Add in the vanilla extract, half-and-half, and salt and mix on medium-high speed for about three to four minutes, until you get the thick consistency you’re looking for in a buttercream.
