Trying to reduce the red meat in my home and add more veggies into our meals, so I tried ground turkey for the first time. Dumped some stuff I had around and my kids loved it.
1 pk ground turkey
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
1 piece of Dorot frozen ginger
2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp teriyaki
1/2 cup packed shredded zucchini
1/2 cup packed shredded carrots
preheat oven to 375 place a parchment paper on a sheet pan.
Mix all ingredients together and form a round patty. Place them on the sheet pan, then put them in the oven for about 15 to 20 min flip them over about another 5 to 10 minutes depending on how well done you like your burger (kids like it well done).
Serve your burger hot in a bun with any sauce you like and some veggies, over a salad or enjoy it just like that with your favorite dipping sauce.
