Rich dairy truffles made from white chocolate, cream, and coconut are a sweet after-supper treat.
Chop chocolate and put in bowl. Add cream and melt together in a microwave or double boiler, until completely melted and smooth.
Add ground coconut and mix well.
Refrigerate mixture for an hour or until it reaches a consistency that can be rolled.
Use a teaspoon to take out small pieces of mixture and use your hands to roll pieces into balls.
Dip balls into ground coconut and serve.
Tips:
Toasted coconut can be used for coating to add color.
Notes:
Store truffles in airtight container in refrigerator up to a week. Truffles can be frozen up to a month.
