Ingredients

whole wheat chala

  • 4 cups warm water

  • 1/4 cup yeast

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup oil  

  • 1 cup honey

  • 10-12 cups whole wheat flour

Directions

Prepare the Whole Wheat Chala

1.

Mix all ingredients except flour. Cover.

2.

Let sit for about 15 min till yeast gets puffy.

3.

Add flour slowly, till it makes a dough that is a bit sticky.

4.

Let rise about 1 hour. 

5.

Bake 10 min on each shelf.
