Whole Wheat Cinnamon Buns (Dairy)

Ingredients

Dough

  • (1/2 teaspoon salt)

  • 2 and 1/4 teaspoons dry yeast

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour

  • 3/4 cup warm milk

  • 1/2 tablespoon melted butter

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Filling

  • 6 tablespoons sugar

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1/2 tablespoon oil/ melted butter

Directions

Prepare the Whole Wheat Cinnamon Buns

1.

First, stir milk, butter, sugar, and salt. Sprinkle yeast on top. Wait 10-15 minutes.

Then, mix in the flour. Knead dough for three to five minutes. Let dough rest while preparing the filling.

In a separate bowl, mix the filling ingredients together.

4.

Roll out dough and spread filling all over. Then, roll up dough to form a log. Next, slice the log and put into round greased pan.

5.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 18-22 minutes.
