Wine-Flavored Challah Kugel


The wine, raisins, and apple give this challah kugel its sweetness – only a touch of added sugar is called for. We call that a win!


Prepare the Kugel

1. Blend first six ingredients.
2. Combine challah, raisins, margarine, cinnamon and apple. Mix well.
3. Pour blended mixture over challah and mix until well coated.
4. Pour into a nine inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
