Ash Reshteh
Naomi welcomes Naz from IMove with Naz, who is teaching us how to make a traditional Persian noodle dish. With loads of herbs, onions, and spices you'll be able to master this dish in no time. Naz also shares with us all the traditional customs that come along with making Ash Reshteh. As they say in Farsi, nooshe jan (bon appetit)!

Ash Reshteh Masty
1/4 cup dried chickpeas
1/4 cup dried red kidney beans
3 tablespoons vegetable oil, butter, or ghee
3 large onions, peeled and thinly sliced
5 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
10 cups water
1/2 pound dry Persian noodles, broken in 3
