i am not understanding why Ben was sent home. His meat may have been salty but he got everything else down pat!!!!
I agree. I think that the fact that he made his own tortillas was enough to make him safe
Hi,
I really enjoy Skill’it.
There are a few things I am not happy about. Elon’s jokes are not meant for Frum Yidden. Also, he is embarrasing people in public. This is meant to be a kosher show. Even if Elon is not so Frum, if he making a show for frum Yidden, shouldn’t wear a Yarmulke?
Thank you and hope Elon will stop making jokes like this.
didn’t Ben make veggies in the beginning?
what happened to those?
he used it for the salsa
I happen to think that these competitions must be rigged. Ben Laniado had made a delicious homemade tortilla and 1 of his meats were good, while the other was salty and he got sent home. On the other hand Moshe Nafisi burnt his tortilla AND his meat wasn’t good and he was kept. I mean I like all the competitors, but wasn’t the challenge to make a meat taco?! So then who really made the better dish?! Something here doesn’t seem fair to me…
Noah has definitely got his mum’s sense of humour … Loving the fact that a vegetarian is able to take on meat dishes and get the taste perfect even without being able to taste it. Loving this show!!!
I love Elon’s corny jokes. He really gets the flavor of chopped mixed with a Jewish shmear!
I usually enjoy https://www.kosher.com for kosher content. Embarrassing others in public is never acceptable EVEN for entertainment. Being cynical and poking fun of YIddish customs E.g. Toiveling, Bris Milah is completely wrong. Its a pity these videos are not for the Heimish crowd anymore.
Also, does anyone know when the next episode is coming out?
Thursday
I personally didn’t mind the jokes and slight embarrassment of the contestants, but I understand other people did and hopefully, the next episode won’t be like that. But other than that, great video, cooking, and quality
I really hope they edit the next one really well to take out all the insults. It is really not nice to the contestants to joke and embarrass them in the name of “entertainment”. I love Kosher.com and everything about it – this has crossed the line.
This was by far the funniest episode, loved it all the way through and through. Keep it up!
It’s awesome to see how being frum isn’t even a barrier in cooking.
I was a little embarrassed for some of the contestants, who were being made fun of in public. It’s not very comfortable to watch people being ridiculed and mocked in front of others, especially on a public kosher forum.
I want it to be the hole show not only for the first 30 minutes
poor use of language, modern orthodox host.. Totally geared for the modern crowd. Not so kosher..
The previous show was great, but I was completely shocked by the language and attitude this show conveyed. I had to turn away a few times because I felt so sorry for some of the contestants. I really expected more from Kosher.com, and I hope to see kinder ways of having fun. This show was supposed to be very different from the non jewish versions, and I and many others found it to be a little too similar. I hope to see improvement in the next episodes!
I really enjoyed the first season of this series and was looking forward to the new season. I felt like the jokes about the contestants crossed the line. I honestly felt sorry for them as they were essentially being embarrassed in public. As a Frum website I expected more from you. This really seemed like it crossed the line from a friendly competition, into a “roast” of some of the contestants. Especially as we are entering the 3 weeks this just doesn’t feel appropriate. I would love to continue to watch this show, and hope that it can be kosher in more ways than just the food, Sincerely a disappointed fan.
