The muffins are great! One problem is that most of the blueberries turned green! I researched why and it seems that it’s a chemical reaction to the baking powder. The suggestion to counteract this reaction is to add some lemon juice or buttermilk. I would love an updated recipe!

I think the research you did is incorrect. There is no chemical reaction that can happen because of the baking powder. What’s happening is that when you take your frozen blueberries out of the freezer there is little ice particles ” attached ” to the blueberries that when the blueberries slowly defrost in the batter and then baked the heat of the oven can cause the blueberries to blead a greenish/ purple color.
To try to fix this you can defrost and strain your blueberries and then coat them in a layer of flour, starch etc.
( This is only for frozen blueberries – fresh blueberries usually wont blead but to be safe you can just coat the blueberries straining is not necessary since fresh blueberries are dry 🙂 )
