Haven’t you ever wondered what you’d get if you put chocolate, caramel, and marshmallow fluff together? No? Just us? Well, we think you’d like it.
If you’re like us and have the sweetest of sweet tooths (sweet teeth?) you won’t be able to resist these delectable dairy treats. We’ve delicately piled everything good onto a delicious base, and we have to warn you; they may be finished long before dessert.
Milk Munch Nougat Bars: Yields 30 squares
CRUST
2 cups flour
1 cup (2 sticks) margarine
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp Gefen Vanilla Extract
¼ tsp salt
NOUGAT FILLING
5 oz (140 g) bittersweet chocolate
5 oz (140 g) softened butter
7 oz (200 g) Gefen Marshmallow Creme
5 oz (140 g) caramel cream (store bought)
¼ cup water
½ cup sugar
1 Tbsp Gefen Cocoa Powder
pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
TOPPING
7 oz (200 g) milk chocolate
4 Tbsp Gefen Whipped Topping
