You probably didn't need to wait for a chill in the air to break out the pumpkin spice, but just in case you did, you won't regret these fall-flavored confections, topped with a coffee glaze.
Get the recipe:
Dough
1/4 challah dough recipe
Filling
1 cup sugar
1 and 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin spice (or more to taste)
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (or more to taste)
5 tablespoons oil or melted margarine
Glaze
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 tablespoon oil
1/4 teaspoon maple flavor
1 tablespoon (1 package) vanilla sugar
1/8 heaping teaspoon coffee dissolved in 2 tablespoons hot water
