Challah Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients:
challah dough, enough for approx. 2 medium-sized challahs
1 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine
Glaze:
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 to 1 tablespoon water
Directions:
1. Mix all filling ingredients together to form a paste.
2. Roll out dough into a large rectangle, smear with filling, and roll up jelly-roll style. Cut into thin slices.
3. Bake sliced side up on a rimmed cookie sheet, leaving room for cinnamon buns to grow. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit about 20 minutes until lightly browned. Don’t over-bake!
4. Mix glaze and pour over buns.

Do you let the dough rise before placing in the oven?
The recipe doesn’t call for it, so letting the dough rise before placing it in the oven is not necessary, but you can for sure let it rise if you have the time.
