This refreshing dessert combines passion fruit and pomegranate for a sweet, tart concoction. It comes together very quickly and with minimal ingredients, and makes a sweet ending to any meal. I love Heaven and Earth’s pomegranate juice because it’s organic and has a fruity, mouth-puckering flavor. Enjoy!!

Pomegranate Passion Fruit Sorbet
Ingredients:
2 cups frozen passion fruit cubes
2 cups pomegranate juice
1 cup simple syrup (see note)
Simple Syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar

Directions:
1. Puree the passion fruit in a food processor until smooth.
2. Add pomegranate juice and syrup and pulse until combined and smooth. Pour through a sieve to remove seeds.
3. Pour mixture into an ice cream machine and churn until frozen. Alternately, pour into a shallow dish and freeze, stirring every half hour or so, until frozen and scoopable. Best eaten within a few days. If frozen too hard, thaw for five to 10 minutes before serving.
4. Prepare the syrup: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar dissolves, five to seven minutes. Cool completely.
