This dish was inspired by a classic favorite Middle Eastern dish that we used to have all the time when we lived in Israel. Shakshuka comes in many shapes, flavors, and forms, but this one is so simple and delicious, it’s a perfect quick meal for any time of day.
Directions
1. Combine the salsa and tomato sauce in a bowl. Place oil in a small skillet or pan and preheat over medium heat. Pour the sauce into it. Let cook for two to three minutes.
2. Meanwhile, crack two eggs into two different bowls. Make a small hole in the tomato sauce with the back of a spoon and pour in one egg. Repeat with the second egg (and a third, if desired).
3. Cover the pan with a pot lid larger than the pan circumference and cook just until whites are firm and yolks are set. Uncover, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with baguettes or crusty bread.

This was so delicious and so easy! I would definitely make this again and not bother with more difficult recipes. I used whole wheat bread and I could not taste that it was whole wheat because the sauce was so strong. I definitely recommend this recipe.
Very delicious
it sucked btw it only lasted 1 day not 9
