This homemade apple jam beats store-bought any day! Using a few simple ingredients, apple jam is made very similarly to apple sauce, however has a thicker consistency and is noticeably sweeter. This smells amazing and is delicious spread over a slice of bread!
Yield: 12 ounces apple jam
Simmer all ingredients over medium-low heat for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
Notes:
For jam to spread easily, add a little hot water or lemon juice. Mix well until it reaches the right spreading consistency.
