Diets This homemade apple jam beats store-bought any day! Using a few simple ingredients, apple jam is made very similarly to apple sauce, however has a thicker consistency and is noticeably sweeter. This smells amazing and is delicious spread over a slice of bread!
Yield: 12 ounces apple jam
6 Cortland apples, sliced
2 cups sugar
juice of 2 lemons (or about 6 tablespoons Heaven & Earth Lemon Juice)
Simmer all ingredients over medium-low heat for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
