Apple Strudel Topped with Pure Pudding and Nuts

Start Cooking
Prepare the Strudel

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).

Mix the apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar together and fold into a puff pastry dough square.

Fold the dough closed and tuck all the ends in. Flip over and place on a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining squares.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, until golden and puffed.
Prepare the Pudding

Blend all ingredients with a mini blender or food processor.
To Serve

If serving immediately, pour the pudding over the cooled apple crisp and top with almonds and pecans.

If assembling in advance, place the apple strudel on the side of the plate with the pudding next to it.

Isn't there supposed to be apple sauce in the pudding? How much, if so? Also, if I don't have avocado, is there a substitute. Thank you.Replies:No applesauce in the pudding. The avocado is the main ingredients. Hard to say how to substitute it.
