Ingredients

Asian Grilled Chicken

  • 3 cloves garlic or 3 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic

  • 1 (1-inch) knob of ginger, peeled

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint

  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Directions

1.

In a food processor, combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, mint, lemon juice, oil and maple syrup. Pour over chicken and marinate up to one hour.

2.

Grill: Grill over medium-high heat for about five to six minutes per side. Oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook for 25 minutes, flip, and then cook for another 10 minutes. The chicken is done when its internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Tips:

You can also use this marinade with skinless, boneless chicken breasts. Grilling is best (seven to eight minutes per side), but you can also bake them in the oven for 20–30 minutes, depending on thickness.
