1 cup fresh or frozen (and thawed) strawberries
2 tablespoons sugar or 1 packet artificial sweetener
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons fruit liqueur (I use pear, ensure this flavor is gluten-free)
3 teaspoons fresh lime juice
2 Asian pears
In the bowl of a food processor, puree strawberries, sugar, and water. Stir in liqueur and lime juice. Set aside.
Cut pears into quarters and pare out the seeds and hard core. Slice each quarter into three to four slices.
Ladle strawberry sauce into dish. Arrange Asian pears slices on top of sauce. (You can arrange on a skewer as in the photo.) You can also use a flatter bowl and arrange them around the rim like a flower.
Garnish with lime and strawberry slices.
