Ingredients

Avocado and Tomato Carpaccio

Directions

1.

On a serving plate, fan out avocado slices in a large circle.

2.

Layer two rows of colored cherry tomato and shallot slices over the avocado, going inward.

3.

Drizzle generously with olive oil and sprinkle with coarse salt.

4.

Sprinkle black pepper around the edges of the avocado slices.

5.

Add a strip of lime zest down the center of the dish, and fill the center of the salad with basil (if using).
