Delicious homemade bagels
3 and 1/2 cups High Gluten Flour
pinch of salt
300 grams warm water
10 grams yeast
1 and 1/2 tablespoons sugar
brown sugar
beaten egg, for egg wash
everything bagel spice (optional)
First let your yeast, water, and sugar poof for 10 minutes. Next add your flour while mixing.
After that, add your salt. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until smooth. Now let the dough rise for one hour.
After the dough rises, split the dough into 6 balls and create a bagel shape. Then cover the bagel and let it rise for another 10 minutes.
While your dough is rising, boil a pot of water with brown sugar to give it some color.
Boil your bagels for one minute on both sides.
Egg your bagels and sprinkle with bagel mix (optional).
Pre-heat your oven to 425 Degrees Fahrenheit. Finally, cook the bagels for 20-25 minutes.

These bagels had good flavor, but the texture was a bit too dense for me. I could not mix the amount of flour the recipe calls for into the liquid ingredients, and the bagels were still dense with the amount I was able to mix in.
