Diets 2 large pears, peeled, cored, and halved
1/2 cup shredded coconut
2 tablespoons dry sweetener or maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a baking dish, place pears cut side up.
In a small bowl, combine coconut, sweetener, and spices.
Place two tablespoons coconut in each pear half. Bake for 30 minutes or until tender.
