Marzipan from scratch is a fantastic treat on its own, or as a component of a separate dessert. The almond paste is moldable into different shapes.
2 cups almonds, blanched and ground
1 cup Gefen Confectioners’ Sugar or other powdered sugar
a few drops rosewater or orange blossom water
Knead all ingredients together, with a mixer if desired, until you have a smooth consistency.
