Ingredients

Beef Kebabs

  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • 1 onion

  • 6 cloves garlic or 6 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic

  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves

  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin, such as Pereg

  • 2 teaspoons Pereg Paprika

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Garlic Herb Baby Potatoes

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • dash black pepper

Israeli Salad

  • cucumbers, diced

  • tomatoes, diced

  • granulated garlic powder

  • salt

  • black pepper

Directions

Prepare the Beef Kebabs

1.

In a blender or food processor, blend onion, garlic, and parsley into a paste.

2.

Add mixture to the ground beef along with the spices. Mix until well combined.

3.

Forming the kebabs (hack method): Place just under 1/4 cup of the meat mixture onto a piece of plastic wrap, an unzippered sandwich bag, or a piece of parchment paper. Fold the plastic/Gefen Parchment over to cover the meat. With one hand, hold the top of the bag steady. With the other hand, pull the bottom layer of the plastic or parchment away from you — this pulls and smooths the meat into an even kebab shape. Peel away the bag and slide a skewer through the center of the shaped meat. Repeat with remaining mixture. (Watch full video for a visual guide.)

4.

Grill for about 15 minutes, rotating to cook evenly on all sides. Alternatively, bake or broil until cooked through.

Prepare the Garlic Herb Baby Potatoes

1.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).

2.

In a blender or food processor, blend garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt, and pepper into a paste.

3.

Toss the baby potatoes with the garlic-herb mixture until evenly coated.

4.

Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through for even cooking.

Prepare the Simple Israeli Salad

1.

Dice as many cucumbers and tomatoes as you’d like.

2.

Season with granulated garlic powder, salt and black pepper.

I would like to give suggestion when you make Meat put skewers also and do it together. This way you don’t have to put it after.

Yes I did that at first when I tried this but I found it easier to just add the skewer in after. Either way works though!
