Medjool dates are a sweet treat on their own, but when you stuff them with savory beef, they take things to a whole new level. The combination of the sweetness of the dates glaze, and the richness of the beef creates an irresistible bite-sized appetizer. See this article for other ways to use Tuscanini glazes to dress up your appetizers.
1 and 1/2 tablespoons oil, such as Gefen Canola Oil
1/4 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 pound ground beef
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
pinch of cumin
pinch of coriander
toasted pine nuts
Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Add the onion and sautee for a few minutes until softened and golden. Add in the ground beef, season with spices and cook until browned, about five to seven minutes. Fold in some toasted pine nuts and stuff into the dates.
Arrange the stuffed dates on the platter.
Top with microgreens.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
