Gefen Whole Beets, diced
3 tablespoons Tuscanini Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Heaven & Earth Date Syrup
1 teaspoon Gefen Hot Honey
salt, to taste
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon Pereg Shawarma Spice
juice of 1/2 lemon
juice of 1/2 lime
fresh parsley, washed and chopped
pomegranate seeds
pumpkin seeds
candied pecans
Tuscanini Sea Salt (to finish)
a glass of Baron Herzog Merlot
Dice the Gefen whole beets and place in a mixing bowl.
Add olive oil, date syrup, and hot honey.
Season with salt, pepper, cumin, and shawarma spice.
Toss in pomegranate seeds, candied pecans, chopped parsley, and pumpkin seeds.
Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon and half a lime.
Mix everything well until evenly coated.
Finish with a generous sprinkle of Tuscanini Sea Salt for that final burst of flavor.
Serve with a glass of Baron Herzog Merlot.
