Diets This is my go-to breakfast most mornings, a hearty bowl of oatmeal with all the toppings. Adding protein powder to the oats makes this extra satiating, and almond milk adds creaminess. I like topping this with frozen berries and chocolate chips- both melt into the hot oats, making for a breakfast that’s truly comforting on a winter morning.
1 scoop Grab 1 Vanilla Protein Powder
1/2 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
peanut butter
frozen berries
chocolate chips
maple syrup
Greek yogurt
In a small mixing bowl, whisk protein powder, rolled oats, kosher salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
Add the almond milk and vanilla extract to a small saucepan and bring to a light boil.
Reduce to low heat, stir in the dry ingredients mixed before and cook, stirring occasionally, until all the liquid has been absorbed by the oats and the oatmeal has thickened, two to three minutes.
Remove from the heat. Serve hot and top with peanut butter, frozen berries, chocolate chips, maple syrup and Greek yogurt.
