A basic, easy vegetable and cheese quiche dish.
Sauté onion in butter until transparent. Add mushrooms and sauté until limp. Add broccoli, egg and salt, mixing well.
Press dough into nine-inch pie plate. Fill with broccoli mixture. Cover with a layer of American cheese and top with a layer of mashed sweet potato.
Decorate with lattice-work. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
