Diets This cake tastes exactly how your Bubbie (or mine) made honey cake. It is a dense cake with a delicious sticky top. It brings back memories every year of Rosh Hashanah at Bubbie with her cake very similar to this one.
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Gefen Cinnamon
1 cup Manischewitz Honey
1 cup hot or warm coffee
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups Glicks Flour
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Combine the eggs, sugar, and oil together. Add in the vanilla or vanilla sugar, baking soda and cinnamon. Mix to combine. Then add the honey and coffee and mix. Add the flour and baking powder and whisk until there are no clumps.
Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 35 to 30 minutes, or until the cake has set.

amazing recipe, came out perfect
The baking time seems incorrect
very sticky and dense not to flavourfull tasted store bought diden’t taste of honey at all
The recipe was easy to make and the cake tasted better than any store bought or bakery honey cake. Nothing artificial in this cake and not too sweet! It is a beautiful dessert that can be brought easily to family when made in disposable aluminums loaf pans
Amazing!! Moist and flavorful, but not overly sweet. My family loved it!
