Warm homemade apple pie… Need I say more?
It looks and seems complicated to make a pie from scratch, but making your own dough is only one extra step, which your food processor does for you — and you’ll only need to break out your rolling pin for the latticework, not the crust
Yield: 1 10-inch round pie
Directions
Prepare Bubby Norman’s Apple Pie
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, mix crust ingredients together. Press firmly into a 10-inch round pie pan, reserving less than half the dough for the top.
3. In a bowl, mix together filling ingredients. Spread over the crust.
4. Roll out remaining dough and cut into strips. Form a lattice over the filling.
