Every bite of these delectable, crisp and crunchy butterscotch brownies will melt in your mouth. The flavor combination in this recipe will have you reaching for just one more! Adjust baking time if you like your butterscotch brownies a bit chewier.
1/2 pound margarine
2 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 and 1/2 cups flour
1 tablespoon Gefen Vanilla Sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Haddar Baking Powder
1 cup pecans or filberts, chopped
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Slowly add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Pour into 9×13 pan.
Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
Cool and cut into 2″ squares.
