These taste way better and are so much fresher than the store-bought ones.
1 and 1/4 cups whole macadamia nuts
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
Line a baking sheet with Gefen Parchment Paper.
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, combine nuts, sugar, and water. Keep stirring until sugar fully dissolves, about five minutes.
Raise heat a bit and keep stirring until sugar mixture starts to harden and gets a sand-like consistency. This can take between 10 and 15 minutes.
Continue stirring and you’ll see the sugar start to melt again, now becoming brown in color. Keep stirring until all the nuts are fully coated in the caramel-colored sugar and are shiny on the outside.
Remove from flame and spread out on baking sheet to cool for one hour before serving.
