A Sufganilatke combines all the best parts of sufganiyot and latkes for the perfect bite of Chanukkah!

2-3 Granny Smith apples
1 tablespoon lemon juice
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 and 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
pinch of ground cloves
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
butter, for frying
whipped cream
fresh strawberries
strawberry jam
Peel and grate apples and wring out excess liquid.
Toss apples with lemon juice and set aside.
Mix together dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Add dry ingredients to apples and mix.
Add the two eggs and mix until combined.
Brown butter in frying pan and spoon apple mixture to form latkes. Flip when golden brown.
Remove latkes from frying pan and let cool to room temperature.
Layer latke, strawberry jam, whipped cream, fresh diced strawberries, another latke, whipped cream, half of a strawberry.
