Diets This is the good stuff. This low-carb cauliflower and pea soup recipe is hearty, sugar-free and packed full of nutrients. Just brown the flour and simmer onions, carrots, celery, parsley root, cauliflower and peas, and you’ll end up with something good to eat.
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons flour
1 onion, minced
3 carrots, grated
2 stalks celery, diced
1 parsley root, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced or 2 cubes Gefen Frozen Garlic
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon salt
1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets
1/2 cup peas, frozen or fresh
3 quarts water
In six quart pot, brown flour in oil, stirring constantly, until light brown.
Add all ingredients and cook for an hour and a half over medium-low heat.
