Looking for chalva (halvah) without all that guilt? Try these gluten free, sugar free bites of deliciousness.
sesame seeds for rolling (optional)
1 cup Medjool dates
1 cup walnuts
1/3 cup raw tahini
In a food processor fitted with the “S” blade, blend the dates, walnuts and tahini until it is crumby. Roll that into balls, and, for an optional garnish, roll into sesame seeds.
Keep refrigerated!
