What can I use instead of the duck sauce, I can't use sweeteners?
you can do a homemade version using the following ingredeints (and even leaving out the apricot jam!):
¾ C all-natural apricot jam
4 Tbsp rice vinegar
½ tsp low sodium soy sauce
2 medium cloves fresh minced garlic*
1 tsp fresh minced ginger*
½ tsp chili powder
1/16 tsp cayenne powder (or to taste)
This is an amazing chicken burger recipe! They are so juicy. Thank you for a great recipe that we always come back to.
would chopped dark chicken work?
yes, definitley!
Looks healthy and tasty Hi Avigail
Can I make the burgers and (safely) freeze them raw?
Thank you
Michal
Hi Michal! I apologize for such a delayed response.
I haven’t personally done so but I imagine if you freeze the mixture right away you shouldn’t have an issue. I would recommend not freezing for more than a few weeks.
Happy cooking!
Moist, yum, and easy! Always looking for chopped chicken burger recipe, these were great! Came out super moist. Added a bit more mustard and salt... everyone ate them happily
