This is a really easy two-minutes-to-throw-together slow cooker dinner submitted by Mushka Mann. She calls it “chicken on the bone” but since the chicken becomes so super soft and falls off the bone, we should really call it “chicken off the bone!” The house will smell delicious without standing by the stove for even a minute!
chicken bottoms (however many you need)
Tuscanini or your favorite marinara sauce (approximately 1 jar per 4 chicken bottoms)
pasta or rice, for serving
Rinse the chicken bottoms and pat dry.
Place chicken in the slow cooker and cover liberally with marinara sauce. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and turn on the low setting for at least four hours, the longer the better.
Remove the chicken from the slow cooker right before serving.
Serve with pasta or rice; it will soak up the delicious sauce. (You can throw the pasta or rice right into the slow cooker 40 minutes before serving. Add a cup of water if you think there is not enough sauce for the pasta or rice to cook in. ) This is an opportune time to try one that’s more healthy, such as brown
