Ingredients

Chickpea Croutons

  • black pepper

  • garlic

  • onion powder

  • a lot of paprika for color

  • cayenne pepper

  • 1 can drained chickpeas – dried with a towel

  • drizzle with olive oil

  • salt

Directions

Prepare the Chickpea Croutons

1.

Drain and dry chickpeas.

2.

Drizzle with oil and spices according to taste.

3.

Mix and rub the spices all over.

4.

Pour onto a lined baking sheet – don’t overcrowd.

5.

Bake at 420 for about 20 minutes – when the croutons on the edge begin to get very dark and the croutons are starting to get hard but not too hard, they are ready!

6.

Top a salad, soup or eat plain!
