Diets A tasty one-pan Chinese fakeout-takeout chicken dinner with onions and peppers. Serve over rice or your favorite grain to make this a complete meal.
1 large onion, diced
2 orange or yellow peppers, diced
1 package boneless chicken fingers
1 tablespoon Tonnelli Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon Haddar Teriyaki Sauce
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 heaping teaspoon Gefen Cornstarch dissolved in 1/2 cup water
sesame seeds
scallions, for garnish
Sauté the onions and peppers in a little olive oil until cooked through. Remove from pan.
Add the chicken and sauté until fully cooked. Add the veggies back to pan, along with the soy sauce, teriyaki saice, brown sugar and worcestershire sauce. Continue to cook on a low flame for a few more minutes.
Add the cornstarch slurry to the pan. Continue to mix until the sauce has thickened. Generously sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced scallions on top.
