Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 and 1/2 sticks margarine

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 teaspoons water

  • 2 teaspoons Gefen Vanilla Extract

Directions

Prepare the Cake

1.

Beat margarine and sugars.

2.

Add rest of ingredients (excluding melted chocolate), one at a time.

3.

Spread batter into a nine- by 13-inch pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 45 minutes or until lightly browned. (Check for doneness with a skewer.)

4.

When cooled, drizzle with melted chocolate, if desired, and cut into small squares.

Notes:

Can be successfully doubled.

sub margarine with oil? can the margarine in this recipe be substituted for oil?

Easy! I used oil for this recipe. It doubled perfectly. Only needed 40 minutes bake time.
