This homemade chocolate syrup is perfectly parve and ready in just a few minutes.
2 and 1/2 cups sugar
1 quart water
4 ounces baking chocolate
dash of salt
2 tablespoons Gefen Cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tablespoons cold water
2 tablespoons Gefen Vanilla Extract
Cook sugar with water. Add baking chocolate and salt and cook until dissolved.
Add cornstarch to chocolate mixture. Add vanilla extract and cook for another five minutes.
