Diets Originating from Mexico, these perfectly tender bites that taste like sweetened breadsticks are one of the world’s favorite desserts. They are irresistible when paired with melted ganache or hot dipping chocolate. If you’ve never tried your hand at these, don’t be nervous. They are really simple to make and are literally no fail, so go ahead and enjoy.
Note: The dough can be made in advance, but once fried they are best eaten fresh.

Oh no! If it fell apart the oil may not have been hot enough or the dough was too soft. Try chilling the dough and make sure the oil is fully heated next time- should help it hold together better.
