Start Cooking

Prepare the Salmon

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 

  2. Rub salt and pepper onto fish; drizzle with lemon juice. Alternate overlapping slices of orange and lemon on top of fish. Sprinkle with wine. 

  3. Bake for 5 minutes. Lower heat to 325°F and continue baking for another 7-10 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork.

    Delicious! I added some honey and didn't put in wine. In order for it to look more appealing, I used bright yellow lemons, sweet orange slices, and dark yellow meyer lemons and served it with a bright romaine citrus salad. It was fabulous! Next time I'd like to coat the fish in matzah meal or breadcrumbs before adding the fruit for texture. Thank you!
