Diets When it comes to cookies, you can’t go wrong with a classic. Add in the optonal wheat germ for an extra nutritional boost (the kids won’t even notice).
1/2 pound margarine (use soy-free, if needed)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
4 and 1/2 cups flour
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Haddar Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup Glicks Chocolate Chips
1 cup wheat germ or walnuts (optional)
Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, then add all other ingredients and mix well.
Form into balls and place two inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes until golden.
Yield: 4-5 dozen cookies
