A super-easy, time-tested, make-ahead salad.

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 cucumbers, sliced

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Gefen Salt

  • 1/2 cup sugar

Directions

Prepare the Salad

1.

Combine all ingredients.

2.

Chill for several hours and serve.

Which type of cucumbers do you suggest using?

I like the long English Cucumbers, but you could really use any ones you like.

This recipe used lemon juice instead of vinegar.
